I found a female USB internal header, and many female jumper headers. First disconnect one end of the internal USB female header. Next, remove 7 single female jumper ( 0.1” ) headers from their cables. Connect the single headers on to the unplugged end of the internal USB header. Slide the NRF24L01+ into the USB female header. Remove any unnecessary pins and cables from the USB connector. Finally plug the 7 individual connectors onto the RPI. ( Refer to the pinout diagram ) The NRF24L01+ can often be found for less than $1.00 US on eBay and Alibaba I have tried to overestimate costs, and have priced more bulbs than needed.
